Messy Art Lab

A joyful, hands-on art session where children are encouraged to explore, experiment and get properly messy with paint and materials, all within a relaxed and supportive studio setting.

This artist-led workshop focuses on play, curiosity and process rather than finished results. Children will rotate through a series of messy art activities, experimenting with colour, texture and mark-making using a variety of tools and techniques. Parents are invited to support and encourage, but the emphasis is firmly on children leading their own creative exploration.

No previous art experience is needed. Old clothes are recommended.

Additional adults & younger siblings
I understand that school holidays can make childcare tricky. Younger siblings are welcome to attend alongside the participating child. While the main workshop is aimed at the booked child, colouring and quieter activities can be provided to help keep younger siblings occupied.

Other parents or carers are also welcome to attend and observe if needed. Please note that the messy art activities are designed for the booked child only, and additional adults will not take part in the making activities.

A lovely school holiday activity and a keepsake you’ll actually want to keep. 

Refreshments and snacks will be provided to keep the creativity flowing.
