Paint Your Parent

A relaxed and playful painting session where children create a painted portrait of their parent or carer, with gentle guidance from me throughout.

This workshop is all about having a go, embracing wonky bits, and enjoying the process rather than aiming for a perfect likeness. Children will be encouraged to look closely, choose their colours confidently, and let their personality show through their painting — while parents take on the important role of sitter and supporter.

No previous art experience is needed. The session is designed to be fun, supportive and a little bit silly, while still resulting in a finished artwork to take home.

Additional adults & younger siblings
I understand that school holidays can make childcare tricky. Younger siblings are welcome to attend alongside the participating child. While the main workshop is aimed at the booked child, colouring and quiet activities can be provided to help keep younger siblings occupied.

Other parents or carers are also welcome to attend and observe if needed, however only one adult will take part as the sitter and be painted during the session.

A lovely school holiday activity and a keepsake you’ll actually want to keep. 

Refreshments and snacks will be provided to keep the creativity flowing.
